# What is the process for returning my bond?

Once the tenancy has ended, the final inspection is done, and everyone has agreed how the bond will be paid out (allowing for any damage or unpaid amounts), a bond refund form is lodged with the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA), who then refund the bond. We don't hold bonds ourselves.

By law, a bond refund form can't be lodged before the tenancy end date or handover date. You can read more about [bond refunds on the RTA website](https://www.rta.qld.gov.au/refund).
